TIER IV C1 MP
A 2.5MP resolution camera optimised for autonomous driving applications. Supplementing TIER IV’s existing C lineup of cameras built with hard-to-source automotive-grade components, the new C1 MP series (120 and 195) meets the stringent quality requirements of production vehicles and is available at scale.
Features:
The MP series retains the same configuration as previous models but has been optimised to ensure automotive quality and supply stability for mass-produced vehicles.
While the conventional C1 camera measures 38.5mm square when viewed from the front, the C1-195MP has been significantly miniaturised to 28.0mm square, resulting in a more compact design focused on practical implementation.
- High dynamic range (HDR): With a dynamic range of 120dB, it can capture scenes with a large difference in brightness without crushing shadows or overexposing highlights.
- High sensitivity, low noise: Suppress noise and capture high-quality images even in less light environments.
- LED flicker mitigation: Flickering from LED light sources such as traffic signals, traffic signs, headlights, and taillights can be mitigated.
- Autoware compatibility: Fully compatible with Autoware, the open-source operating system for autonomous driving.
- GMSL2 interface: The GMSL2 interface allows for long-distance signal transmission and power supply over a single cable connection.
- Automotive quality: The camera uses automotive-grade components and is designed for temperatures between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius.
